Accountability:  How will receipt of the funds be acknowledged and how will progress be reported?

The Relief and Resettlement Committee will make a report to the donor concerned immediately after the distribution of items.  The Bishop will be signing all transaction including the report.

Project Summary:

The diocese is targeting eight hundred families or about 275,000 people for resettlement.  First of all is the transportation from their internal displacement camps or refugee camps (outside of the country) to Bor to a reception center.  The repatriation will start at the end of 2006 through next year.  Once back in Bor, the Church needs to provide clothing, blankets, mosquito nets, cooking sauce pans, 20 liter water can, water basin, water bucket, axe, machete, hoe, sickle, spools, fishing twine, fishing line, fishing hooks.  This is a job normally undertaken by the UN however it is currently in  a sensitive situation with the government of Sudan over repatriation.
