Project Summary: |
The aim is to work for peace, justice, equality, freedom, and conscience, harmony, forgiveness, and reconciliation among people of different cultural backgrounds, tribes, and creeds in South Sudan. The Church intends to lead in reconciliation by helping people to confess past mistakes, forgive one another, focus on rebuilding communities, address trauma, and implement healing. By building a center for rebuilding communities, people will be drawn together to learn about conflict resolution. The project will reach out to SPLM/A leaders, chiefs and elders of each community, university students of the Upper Nile area, and intellectuals of each area. |
