Project Summary:

These priorities were formulated from the challenges listed in the annual

 report of the Kadugli Diocese at the Juba Synod in January 2006.  Much has been accomplished since the establishment of the diocese in 1997 but of course, challenges remain. 

The following are the list of priorities for the dioceses.

1)  Providing sources of income such as agricultural projects, income

generating projects

2) Radical and comprehensive solution to the matter problem of clergy and workers wages in the diocese (There are none.)

3) Provide training courses, to train and rehabilitate and to provide scholarships within and without the country

4) Exchanges with sister dioceses in and outside the country

5) Make official the ownership of diocesan office plots of land and the Cathedral

6) Evangelize all parts of the diocese which hasn’t been

7) Sponsor conferences and conventions for spiritual development

8) Organize youth program

9) Build a cathedral

10) Build a bishop’s house and buy him a car to aid in his visiting all around the diocese

11) Write development projects

12) Write a project for returnees and relief for them

13) Train untrained clergy, both men and women

14) Open literacy classes and kindergarten

15) Establishment of primary schools

16) Establishment of secondary schools

17) Train clergymen and women in first aid

18) Training of women in midwives school

19) Build clinics

20) Build health center
