Project Summary:

The formulation of this request came from the Lui Diocese report to the Synod in January 2006.  Since the establishment of this diocese in 1995 there have been a series of man made and natural calamities which affects development and makes the diocese appeal for food aid every year.  There has been much sadness this past year due to the burning of church schools and church compounds by militias.   Any aid this year could help towards food aid or any of their other

priorities such as:

Socio-economic activities: agriculture, education, carpentry, capacity building and the building of a guest house (for income generation)

Water

Medical care

Treatment of people with river blindness
