Project Summary: |
Renk Bible College is one of four bible colleges in the Episcopal Church of Sudan. Bishop Daniel has worked hard to build this college which opened in 1999. It is now able to offer a diploma. There is a constant struggle with the Government of Sudan (which demolished the college in 2004). It has since reopened. Staff has a high level of education. Most has MTS from the US and Lauren Stanley of the US is a guest lecturer there. There are part time teachers with BA’s, a rarity indeed. At present the College is able to house 10 students and others must be day students. The College would like to build more dormitories to increase its capacity. The College would needs to create and institute income generating projects so that it can become self sufficient. |
